MDM Trouble Report for 2003 Apr 27

Problem(s) Encountered:
While reading out the chip at one point, the computer gave the
following message:
ccd_getblock: setup read: connection timed out
Failed, return code= -145

A little bit later, when trying to clear the chip, the computer
froze up.  Pressing ctrl+C unjammed it.

The buttons (esp. south) on the telescope fine tuning box seem 
to be sticky.  Sometimes, when trying to adjust the position of 
the telescope, it wouldn't respond.  If I went in the opposite 
direction and then tried again it would work.

Also, sometimes just pressing the set button, and not a directional
button, would cause the telescope to jump about an arcminute in
a random direction.  Usually, this would happen when I was 
dithering in between images and guiding.
