MDM Trouble Report for 2003 Nov 17

Problem(s) Encountered:
I noticed that one of my guide stars wasn't getting any closer
to the center of the guide box. The  dx  value was up to 3 or 4,
and roughly constant. When I tried to manually adjust the star's
position with the telescope paddle in the control room, nothing
happened. I could hold either the North or South buttons without
any telescope movement. The slew and set controls still worked 
for North-South, and East-West worked normally for all movement
rates. I got the same behavior from the telescope control inside
the dome. For the rest of the night, I adjusted the North-South
position with small 'set' motions, when needed.
