MDM Trouble Report for 2003 Feb 4

Problem(s) Encountered:
Variations in tracking rate were at times severe, and took on
two different behaviors: 1) tracking rate would suddenly
decrease temporarily.  This nearly always happened when the CCDs
were reading out, suggesting some electrical interference aspect
to the problem; and 2) at about 3am, moving to target at 14.7
hours -0.6 degrees, the tracking rate started slipping all of
time, in jumps of about 10-20 arcsec.  I couldn't find any way
to stop it.
