MDM Trouble Report for 2003 May 5

Problem(s) Encountered:
At the beginning of the night, the hand paddle would not
communicate with the TCS computer. This meant I was unable
to slew/move the telescope or change the focus of the 
telescope. When I tried to use the mouse to close
the TCS window on the TCS computer, the window locked
up and nothing happened.
After consulting with Bob Barr, the TCS computer
was restarted and this appeared to fix the problem, but 
resulted in a loss of pointing since the telescope was not
at zenith at the time. It then took a short while to get
the pointing restored.
