MDM Trouble Report for 2004 Oct 27

Problem(s) Encountered:
The power was gone off at 3:40 (local), and
came back immediately. 2.4m observers also reported
the same power problem. I have checked the power
generator not running, confirming that the commercial
power was back right away. The telescope was in the
parking position, and the TCS was off at the time of
power stoppage.

There was no threat of thunderstorm; no echo within
50 miles on the weather radar, no developed clouds
on IR satellite images.

I did not check whether the telescope was running properly,
and just let the telescope in its parking position. There
was no observation tonight due to bad weather conditions.
