MDM Trouble Report for 2004 Oct 31

Problem(s) Encountered:
Computer 'hill' was unresponsive (as were xterms to hill from 
kilauea) when observers arrived at the control room in the 
afternoon.  Cycling power to hill resulting in kernel panic
during boot.  Possible disk crash.  Turned computer off for the
night.

Network slow all night.  Trouble transferring files across 
the network from Kilauea to my laptop -- stalls out.
