MDM Trouble Report for 2004 May 22

Problem(s) Encountered:
The PC guider stopped working. Although the PC guider with 
the DTI box was guiding at the beginning of the night, after a 
couple of hours it stopped working. We checked all of the 
connections and restarted the program but it did not clear up 
the problem. It appears that the PC is not receiving information 
from the DTI. A typical line of readout in the PC display is 
as follows:

X=7.77 +/-=0.00 y=10.01 counts=858 sky=4 FWHM=9.49 
**E guide = 0.00 N** = 0.00 RMS = 0.00

These numbers never change when the guider is started with the
command s. 

The view of the slit is OK and the XYZ box in the lower right 
corner is functioning. It is possible to guide by hand and the 
telescope seems to be functioning normally.
