MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Mar 11

Problem(s) Encountered:
The telescope would not slew south.  When holding down the slew
button and the south button, the telescope would move at a rate
only a tiny bit faster than the set speed while making a very 
loud series of intermittent clicks.  At one point, after holding
both buttons down for a very long time trying to get to a new
target, the telescope suddenly began to move at the slew speed 
and continued until I reached my target. However, it did not 
repeat this throughout the rest of the night and continued to 
move slowly and make the horrible clicking sounds.  I was able
to get almost all of my targets because the telescope could 
still move, but I wasted quite a bit of time just trying to 
slew between targets.
