MDM Trouble Report for 2005 May 30

Instrument: Apogee Alta U1 CCD

Problem(s) Encountered:
Last night(May29), during the observation, I found a message 
 Watchdog was reset ... OK  on the  Kilauea  screen. 
I move mouse to check anything abnormal and found mouse has no response, 
keyboard doesn't respond either. So I believe the  Kilauea  was freezing. 
I continue observing because no affect from  Kilauea . 
I was thinking to Leave this problem (and the screen status) to Bob. 
But I did not see Bob and other staffs because today is the 
memorial day. Around 5pm of today (May30, Monday) I tried to 
do  stop+A  and re-boot the computer following the manual. 
It failed to startup even I cool-startup it by turning its 
power off. Then I called Bob and report the booting 
problem. Later Bob came to check. Hard disk has a problem 
need to be fixed.

Other instrument worked properly. Observations smoothly done.
