MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Apr 12

Problem(s) Encountered:
There is a problem with trying to write files from agung
 to hard disks(cross-mounted or otherwise) on other 
machines (krakatoa, retrocam, etc).  agung can read from any 
 machine's disks at proper speed, but writing can take minutes
per ~4MB file.

We could not determine any obvious cause for this problem (full
disks, processes running on agung, etc.)

Chris Morgan reported this problem to Rick Pogge at OSU, but
he assumed that the problem was only limited to writing from agung 
retrocam.  It would seem that the problem is more pervasive than 
previously thought.

Minor hick-up : dome did not go home for second night in row. Easy 
to fix, but still annoying.
