MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Dec 14

Problem(s) Encountered:
The telescope sometimes had jerky movements tens 
of arcseconds in size. Each time this happened ,TCS 
displayed an error message saying  RA & Dec encoders not 
responding.  Going into the dome , we could hear the drives trying 
to get the telescope to the right position but they could not.

This problem was not repeatable and happened only 
about a couple of times.
