MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Dec 27

Problem(s) Encountered:
Since we began with an object 5 hours to the east, I expected
that the telescope would lose tracking.   Indeed, it obliged
about a dozen times during the next three hours while tracking
on the same object.  So we lost that many 5 minute exposures.
Various means were used to coax it back into position, but the
bottom line is that we don't understand the problem.  It may
or may not depend on 'X', but even if so, we don't have a solution
that is a function of 'X'.
