MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Feb 20

Problem(s) Encountered:
Disk problems on pinatubo recurred again, once in the afternoon,
and again around 2 AM. Both times the only recourse was to halt
pinatubo, run fsck twice, then halt and cycle power.

This problem is occurring with rapidly increasing frequency. Once
last Sunday Feb 13, once Saturday the 19th, twice Sunday the 20th.
Note that this is generally not an observer-recoverable problem
unless the observer is given the pinatubo root password and clear
instructions on what to do.
