MDM Trouble Report for 2005 Nov 16

Problem(s) Encountered:
At 5:30AM, the telescope was slewing to the next
target when it stopped before reaching it, and then
rocked back and forth repetitively in the East-West 
direction by about 1 minute of arc. The TCS display
showed the error message  RA encoder not responding .
It did this for about 1 minute before finally resuming
its normal course. When this happened, the telescope
was pointing toward HA=-1 55 30, and Decl=+1 42 40.
