MDM Trouble Report for 2006 Jan 12

Telescope: 1.3m
Observer(s): Sheets (Dartmouth)
Instrument: Mark III + Templeton

Problem(s) Encountered:
the north button wouldn't respond maybe half the time when i tried to
set north.  also, as i was setting to an object in the south, 
around -00 11 or -00 12, the dec briefly read about 08 35 for a
few seconds before going back to the actual dec.  didn't cause
me problems, but i thought that was weird enough to report.
