MDM Trouble Report for 2006 Jul 22

Problem(s) Encountered:
Around 2am, the  Set  speed for moving the telescope stopped 
working.  When pressing the  Set  button on either the console in 
the dome or the paddle in the control room, we could here a 
mechanical clang, but the telescope did not move.

This also caused the guider to fail, allowing the telescope to
drift steadily eastward.

Around 4:40am, Tambora displayed an error message

 Watchdog reset
type help for more information
ok 

I resert Tambora by typing  reset  and then restarted ccdcom.  
The problem seemed to be fixed.
