MDM Trouble Report for 2006 Jul 29

Problem(s) Encountered:
We rebooted after a lightning shutdown, and everything seemed to 
be working fine. However, within a few minutes the HE was no longer
communicating with the IC. We tried the seqinit command and powering 
on and off the HE box numerous times to no avail. We got the following 
error messages on the IC monitor:
ERROR: Timeout waiting for word in from HE
ERROR: No HE UARTS found. Disabling utility functions from sequencer
ERROR: Trying to reset head electronics. Head electronics utilities disabled
IC>ICERROR: Can't initialize UARTS. Head Electronics UARTS are disabled. Try SEQINIT

As the weather was poor, we lost no observing time to this problem. 
We had to do another lightning shutdown and encountered the same 
problem after rebooting. Everything works for about 5 minutes, 
and then the HE no longer communicate with the IC.
