MDM Trouble Report for 2006 May 24

Telescope: 2.4m

Instrument: Direct + Echelle

Problem(s) Encountered:
The telescope would not slew in declination unless the slew button 
on the hand paddle was pressed, so accurate positioning was not 
possible. TCS reported DEC encoder not responding. This occured
near the end of the night, so I stowed the telescope as close as 
possible to zenith and shut down.
