MDM Trouble Report for 2007 Apr 24

Problem(s) Encountered:
We had a continuation of the Dome AZ encorder problem encountered
last night, albeit to a lesser extent. Once the Dome AZ reading,
and subsequently the dome error, jumped approxamately 30 degrees.
The encoders read 333 while the actual value was ~296. The  jump 
coincided with moving the dome slightly. On subsequent pointings,
the optimal dome error varied from 0.0 to 9.0. This is quite an
improvement over last night. We still checked the dome position
almost every exposure to confirm the position, losing approx. 15
min over the night.
