MDM Trouble Report for 2007 Jun 5

Problem(s) Encountered:
In the afternoon, while copying and backing up files on
/data/vesuvius, we found that file access was terribly sluggish.
Vesuvius itself was very sluggish, with a load of about 6 due
to several nfsd processes chewing up CPU time, even after we shut
down all processes that might have been accessing files.  We shut
vesuvius down and rebooted it.  It seems to be working fine now.
