MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Dec 1

Problem(s) Encountered:
There is a complex pattern noise on the CCD.  Seems like some
kind of electrical pickup.  The amplitude on each quadrant is
different, with the worst one being about 100 counts
peak-to-trough.  That's bad.
   Cycling the power on the electronics box didn't help, nor did
typing seqinit on the IC console.  I note that there are several
pieces of equipment plugged into the same power strip on the
telescope.  Maybe this is how the noise is being picked up?
   Is anything different about the setup this time?  The 4K
has been on the telescope for a week.  Maybe the previous
observers didn't notice or chose to report this.  I see one
of their images from a couple of days ago that looks like it
has the same problem.
