MDM Trouble Report for 2008 May 8

Problem(s) Encountered:
Around midnight, there was a brief interruption in the power
supply to the control room.  For some reason, the UPS failed and 
all of the computers in the control room needed to be restarted.

This would not have been quite so significant a problem, had the
telescope not been pointed away from zenith at the time.  Since it
was, the RA/Dec of the telescope got scrambled, and it took quite
some time to get it aligned properly again and check the pointing.
I imagine this would have happened even if the UPS had not failed,
but the failure is, in itself, problematic.
