MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Nov 5

Problem(s) Encountered:
The pointing on this telescope makes target acquisition 
difficult. Since I'm repeating targets night after night, I've 
gotten used to its quirks, but some are fairly major (off by 
numerous arcminutes).

One thing I noticed is that, when using the home functionality 
of the TCS, it seems that the telescope is only homed properly 
(or at least good enough for jazz) in hour angle but not in 
declination. It was off by -16:02:17.9. After homing in ha and 
dec separately, I used typed 

tx offset dec=16:02:17.9 

and then watched the levels with additional adjustments to get 
it to home at true zenith.
