MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Apr 10 Telescope: 2.4m Observer(s): Shields, Boettcher (Ohio University) Instrument: CCDS Problem(s) Encountered: While moving rotator position near the end of the night, the rotator angle on the TCS display jumped discontinuously from 70 degrees to -580 degrees and continued to give nonsense readings. I positioned the rotator using reference marks on the mirror cell. When I closed up for the night and put the rotator back to zero degrees, the readout appeared normal again on the TCS display. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Apr 10 [6:29:04]
