MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Apr 28

Problem(s) Encountered:
Up to 2.35 am everything very smooth.

Then, in the prospero terminal, prospero stalled on me, and became 
just a  dumb shell . 
Quickly, after trying numerous times to restart prospero, it
became apparent that the problem is the IC.

Attempts of rebooting it failed. Even after numerous cycles, it
always stops at the same location in the booting process : 
after the BIOS phase, it wants to verify Pool Data, and tries to start
MS-DOS......and stops right there.

Luckily, no/very little observing time lost, since retrocam was 
still functionable.
