MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Jun 29

Telescope: 2.4m

Instrument: Modspec + echelle CCD.

Problem(s) Encountered:
Once again, the telescope jumped about 30-arcsec east while 
I was guiding on an object.  This time it happened at 
HA = 2h01m W, and dec = -13.  Luckily, I was looking at the
TV at the time and was able to recover almost immediately. 
I'm sure the set button on the paddle was not engaged.  I did
not check to see if the encoders reflected this jump since I
was too busy putting the target back in the slit!
