MDM Trouble Report for 2008 Sep 25

Problem(s) Encountered:
Around 1 am, a 900 sec exposure was blank...as if it was a dark.
Plenty of cosmic ray hits but no spectrum. Problem would come 
and go. Restarted CCDCOM cold (turned off power supply and 
restarted the CCD cold but problem kept coming back. Suspected
the shutter since a few images were only partially good meaning 
some flux near the center of the spectrum while the rest was either
missing or very weak. Comparisons looked OK but saw little difference
between a 0.1 sec and a 10 sec. We think the shutter is only opening
for a short time (~1 sec or less). I could hear the shutter opening 
but not closing.
