MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Apr 25

Problem(s) Encountered:
Several times an error occurred that disabled the telescope tracking. Usually the error was something like 'point HA fatal following error' or 'point axis = AZ timeout'. Most of the time these errors occurred immediately upon issuing a point command, but such errors also occurred in the middle of an image. A 'point HA fatal following error' also occurred when commanding the telescope back to the zenith at the end of the night (tracking disabled). Usually tracking could just be reenabled to solve the problem, but occasionally several commands were needed before taking.
