MDM Trouble Report for 2009 May 31

Problem(s) Encountered:
Since the start of my run there have been occasional problems 
with the guider. While guiding, it sometimes suddenly jerked in the 
N-S direction (guider x axis) by a couple of pixels and then 
returned back after couple seconds. This resulted in double or 
sometimes multiple (if the problem occured several times during 
exposure) images of stars or even loss of the guiding when the 
guiding star jumped out of the guiding box. I haven't been able to track what 
triggers this problem, but the occurence frequency was lower when 
I set lower value of 'fraction of guide motion to do'. 
I set it to 0.35, then 0.25 and finally to 0.15. However, 
the problem was present even with the lowest value.
