MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Apr 29

Problem(s) Encountered:
Mirror covers did not open at the start of the night (no petals
moved). I phoned Bob and he talked me through the procedure for
unjamming the covers. (The west petal was overlapping both
north and south.) I had always wondered how hazardous this really
was, and now I know. But the covers opened on the first try and
no real time was lost.
