MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Aug 24

Problem(s) Encountered:

The mirror cover didn't want to open.  The north cover came up
first, and then nothing happened for several minutes. I manually
tilted the telescope south, and the south cover popped up when I'd
moved about 20 degrees from the zenith.  The west cover then 
opened normally, but the east cover didn't open after a few 
minutes, so I moved east and it came up.  It was still fairly
cloudy anyway, so I didn't lose significant time.  I wasn't sure 
if the mirror covers might have closed out of order, so at the end
of the night I didn't drop the mirror covers until the telescope
was almost exactly in the zenith.
