MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Jan 27

Problem(s) Encountered:

Had problems with tracking intermittently.  Either the telescope
would not reach the desired position (even after hitting the stop
button), or would jump E/W while guiding.  When it was lost
I couldn't use the hand paddle.

I worked around this by slewing to bright stars or just large
offsets, then returning to the original position.  The problem
would occur roughly every couple of hours, then after some moving
around it would go away and the telescope would track and hold
position as normal.
