MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Nov 25

Problem(s) Encountered:
When I attempted to start the telescope drives at the beginning of the night,
the start switch repeatedly tripped as if the platform was raised.

The platform was raised and lowered a number of times and this did not help,
all of the software etc was also restarted but the problem persisted.

Contacted Bob and he instructed me to bypass the platform trip switch, which did 
not solve the problem. The remaining possibility was that the stop button on the tcs 
switch panel was stuck in the stop position.

I played around with this for a bit and after removing the button and moving the 
switch about with a pen it became free and I could engage the start button.

problem solved! 

ps. the bypass switch was returned to the off position.
