MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Nov 28

Problem(s) Encountered:
At approx 0100 I entered the computer room and encountered a burning smell,
similar to burning plastic. I immediately inspected everything in the room 
and found that the housing for agung was very hot. I returned to the console 
to see if there was anything running on agung but found the terminal to be 
unresponsive. 

At this pint I returned to the computer room to do a power cycle on agung. 
The power light on the front of the machine was not on. I nonetheless held 
down the power button for a few seconds. I attempted to restart agung
a few minutes later but got no response. The housing had started to cool at
this point also.

So it looks like there was some hardware problem with agung.
It is currently in the powered off state and I have disconnected the power 
supply cable just in case!
