MDM Trouble Report for 2009 Sep 7

Problem(s) Encountered:
Following an early afternoon lightning shutdown and restart we
identified a desirable restart sequence that seemed to minimize
the number of computer reboots necessary to begin observing. That
sequence is as follows:
1) Boot HILTNER and login
 1.1) start  xtcs 
 1.2) start  xmis 
 1.3) start  tcsagent 
 1.4) start  caliban  **Note: This will give an error  IS >CB Error, Destination Host IC unknown 
2) boot IC through prompt
 2.1) enter  C  for CCDS
3) Start  prospero  back on HILTNER

This sequence results in an error which is seen in prospero.
In the prospero status window, the  ICtoTCS  link is down(red). 
Also after each image the warning:
 IC> WARNING: Telescope controller not responding. ACQTAG=CCDS.######### 
is seen. This does not appear to have an adverse effect on operating 
the instrument or in using prospero to issue offset commands to the TCS.
