MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Dec 29

Problem(s) Encountered:
At the end of long slew from near the equator to declination ~+75 degrees,
received an error message in the TCS Panel Status line that the
mirror cover was neither open nor closed.  Inspected the cover
position visually, and the leaves seemed to be fully open. Did a
mechanical close of the mirror cover using TCS push button;
leaves closed smoothly and completely.  Opened the mirror cover
again, and leaves retracted fully.  Error message disappeared and
no further problems occurred subsequently.  No real time lost in
cycling the mirror cover open/close sequence to clear the problem.
