MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Sep 9

Problem(s) Encountered:
The only problem this night was the auto-guider. After a few 
successful cycles, the guide probe started to oscillate in RA 
and the guide star was finally thrown out of the guide box by 
10 to 15 arcsec. The target was also moved out of the slit and 
needed to be re-centered. This problem was present over the 
entire night, independent from the impact of wind which induced
motions of a few to 20 arcsec. Hence, I was guiding the good 
old fashioned way. Since the telescope tracking was working very
well and only minor corrections is RA and Dec were necessary.
