MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Jun 14

Telescope: 2.4m

Instrument: Modspec + echelle CCD

Problem(s) Encountered:
The modspec is working!  But it's intermittently showing
strong pattern noise.  See 
/data/chichon/obs24m/thor/spec/Jun14/ccd.101.fits
for an example (I left it on the monitor).  This is something 
like 6-8 ADU peak to peak.

Also, I tried guiding with Maxim DL -- I got it to work,
but couldn't figure how to get it to stick with the original
position. The default seems to be to slew the guide star to the 
middle of the field and hold it there.
