MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Jun 16

Problem(s) Encountered:

Echelle abruptly developed the same symptoms that Josh Schroeder
reported.  I turned it off for several hours but it (predictably)
made no difference.  Flatfields  look  ok but they almost certainly
are not -- comparison specs show strong bleeding of charge off
the lines.  Exposures on sky show a bizarre pattern of very high
pixels (thousands of counts).  

Please switch to Templeton; there are parameters for Charlotte in
the modspec book that may get you close.  For direct next 
week, let's go with Nellie.  

On a brighter note, Maxim DL works as a guider provided you 
don't bin the output!  It autoguided retrocam for hours without
any problems at all.  I may want to try it with direct next week
just to see what the operational issues are.
