MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Jun 18

Problem(s) Encountered:
At the start of the night, the Andor camera wouldn't come on line
-- I'd left everything on during the day, but the Andor control
program had evidently crashed and refused to restart, immediately
reporting a timeout. MaximDL wouldn't connect to the camera 
either.  This of course caused some anxious moments, but I 
solved it by cycling the power on the camera out at the telescope.
There does not appear to be a power switch (the switch on the
power brick toggles deep cooling and regular cooling), so 
I had to unplug the power cord to cycle the power.  After this,
the camera worked perfectly all night.

This doesn't require any action, but I'm submitting it in the 
spirit of reporting problems so others may be made aware of the
possibility.  If this happens frequently we might want to 
turn the cameras off during the day.
