MDM Trouble Report for 2010 Sep 13

Problem(s) Encountered:
The detector continues to be noisy -- it seemed considerably 
worse than it had been during testing in the afternoon.  We 
unplugged the Andor cameras for a test, and it made no
difference; then we turned off the head electronics and plugged
the power into what we thought was commercial power (the 
outer plug on the back of the telescope toward the northwest)
and even then we still had the problem.  So we returned to the 
arrangement we started with (plugged into the little UPS 
on the floor in the dome) and worked with that.  I'm hoping that
this noise will filter out, but I can't be sure it will.
