MDM Trouble Report for 2011 Dec 26

Problem(s) Encountered:
First, there was a power outage around 5:00pm, and glitches since
then.  The generator has been running continuously all night.

Second, the telescope apparently can't point accurately at
declinations north of +70. Several times over the past couple
of nights I was completely lost at these declinations.  It
wasn't even possible to find and zero on a bright star.
Curiously, the virtual hand paddle got confused such that
E and W motions were reversed, while the real hand paddle
didn't have this problem.  The only solution was to go back
and use the tilt meters, and stay at declinations less than 70.
