MDM Trouble Report for 2011 Jun 18

Problem(s) Encountered:
Just after midnight, the East button on the hand
paddle got stuck in the depressed position. The
telescope started drifting east. The button appeared
broken and wouldn't come up. I slewed the telescope
to zenith, turned the tracking off and stopped the
telescope drives. Then I disconnected the paddle from
its cable. After powering up, the telescope no longer 
drifted east. Had to use the TCS virtual paddle for 
the rest of the night.
