MDM Trouble Report for 2012 Jun 30

Problem(s) Encountered:
Sometime in the middle of the night, Prospero stopped writing fits images
to the data disk/directory (/lhome/data).  However, it continued to increment
the file number, i.e. LAST said the last image written was 180, bu t
NEXT said the next image would be 254 or something like that.  I verified
the path was correct and looked for the missing images without success.
There were NO errors reported to standard output during the observations
other than the one that has always appeared:

I then took a single image.  It did not show up but the counter
(NEXT) was again incremented!

 DONE: Exposures finished.
 *** Exposure Completed ***

I then did a RUNINIT, keeping everything the same and the counter 
to its current value.  I then took an image.  That showed up, and 
then one by one the missing images started showing up on /lhome/data!
It took a few minutes for them to appear, except for the last 14.
Instead error messages appeared:

This seems to be a Caliban issue:  Looking at the Caliban log
I see 180 written and then what happens after 180 was written is:

So it seems there was a problem with Caliban?  Any chance of recovering the missing 14 images?
