MDM Trouble Report for 2012 May 19

Problem(s) Encountered:
had severe problems with pointing. did a number of 'home's but
still couldnt identify bright stars in field. shutdown the 
system and started again. did another set of homes. now we 
found the dec was out by nearly 20 degrees since it was still 
pointing at the zenith although we had pointed the telescope 
further over. did several zeros. we then got a bright star 
did a few offsets and then zero again. we then were able to 
get stars bang on the center of the array. hurray!

its also noticeable that in some of the quarters of the array 
there is electronic pattern noise - the locations of which 
vary frame to frame. this is not ideal and will compromise 
the resulting photometry to some degree.
