MDM Trouble Report for 2012 Aug 31

Problem(s) Encountered:
Used Jskycalc to acquire guide stars. The dialed guide stars 
would not show up, and had to scan the field for other guide 
stars using probe offsets. Sent the probe to origin to try and
reset encoders, but no improvement.

Scanning the field using probe offsets and searching for 
asterisms, it was determined that the probe encoders are currently
off by 2800 units in X and 5700 units in Y. Again, sending the 
probe to origin would not correct this. We observed the rest of 
the night by first dialing in the guide stars, and then applying 
the offsets above with the XMIS GUI.
