MDM Trouble Report for 2012 Dec 16

Problem(s) Encountered:
Our main trouble was with condensation on the detector.

High humidity limited opening until approx. 11pm, but condensation remained all night and science observations were impossible. 
We were able to achieve one of our primary objectives of training new observers on slit acquisition and mask alignment, but
no useful science data were taken.

We got in touch with Bob who kindly helped us through the procedure of flushing out with nitrogen, 
but this had little effect. We may not have had the hose far 
enough down in the instrument.
