MDM Trouble Report for 2012 Feb 5

Problem(s) Encountered:
In the middle of a long set of observations Prospero began silently failing to write images (i.e. no error or warning messages were given).  This occurred after image number 175.  

From the leftmost monitor I could tell that the images were being read out normally.  I restarted Prospero and in the process Prospero returned a number of error messages like this:

CB> ERROR: No SIMPLE card in FITS file #27, skipping...

The numbers ranged from 1 to around 67.  I think there were about as many as there were files that failed to write.

This problem may have been due to the fact that I had earlier accidentally aborted an exposure using Ctl-C rather than X.  However, there was a substantial lag in both time and number of images written between my  Ctl-C -ing an exposure and the images failing to be written.
