MDM Trouble Report for 2012 May 29

Problem(s) Encountered:
A few glitches:

The Andor Solis software seemed to hang a few times; restarting
the program solved this.  I did save a couple of pictures to 
document slit placement; this generated some griping about
Maxim DL (I think it was trying to open the images with that 
utility) and I wonder if this had anything to do with it.

Rotator died once, solved by power cycling.  You need to leave it
off for something like 10-20 seconds before it clears.

At the end of the night, the shutter failed; I was almost done
anyway, so I closed up.  When I did so I saw that the shutter
control box had fallen off and was hanging by its power cord.  
The shutter failure is not particularly surprising, then.  If
this had happened earlier, I might have tried to fix it, but
it was too late to do anything at that point.
