MDM Trouble Report for 2013 Feb 17

Problem(s) Encountered:
The telescope has been shifting in Dec during my exposures. I 
believe this is unrelated to guiding - I have checked the guide 
offsets and they appear to be small, then the guide star 
suddenly shifts to the edge of the guide star box and the 
guider takes a while to rectify it. I can work with the guider 
to minimize this effect, but the problem is persistent.

I also believe this has been a problem for a few nights 
already. For the last 2 nights I attributed this problem to the 
wind shaking the telescope, but the winds are calm tonight - so 
I  think the issue is more likely mechanical. It also seems to 
be a problem at most telescope positions.
